Foreign flagged boats are required to have a Transitlog showing from which port they went to which port and with whom they sailed. You can benefit from our consultancy and follow-up services for the Transitlog filling and approval by the authorized authorities.

Applications in Transit Log Certificates

As of 2013, it is obligatory to submit boat insurance for the issuance of Transit Log certificates. Turkish or Foreign flagged yachts that do not have an insurance policy or that have expired must first obtain an Insurance Policy in order to obtain a Transit Log Document.

Foreign Flag yachts in Turkish Ports can only be used by T.C. They can stay and winter in marinas certified by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Therefore, T.C. Transit Log Document transactions cannot be made for yachts located outside the marinas certified by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In the Transit Log Document transactions of foreign flagged yachts, a document showing the place and year of construction of the boat, such as the Producer's Certificate, must be submitted.

The originals of the 2017 Yacht Registration Document (Register) must be submitted in the Transit Log Document procedures of American flagged boats. Boats, whose transactions have not been completed by paying the 2017 taxes, cannot have their Port, Customs and Insurance procedures done.

NOTE: Transit Log Documents are valid for 1 (One) year from the date of issue. It cannot cruise in Turkish Ports with expired documents and insurance policies are deemed invalid during this period.
